I began my career as a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual in 2010. My expertise includes comprehensive financial planning, life insurance planning, and investment management.
I work primarily with affluent families in the DC region who are focused on accumulating resources for their unique objectives by outlining a congruent and choreographed road map forward. I obtained my degree from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Since graduating I've achieved the the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional certification and the ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant) designations from The American College of Financial Services along with completed the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
Jimmy joined the DC team in 2020. Jimmy and his wife J’nay have moved to Northern Virginia in 2010 and currently reside in Herndon, VA. Their home is currently growing with their son Jameson, their golden retriever Teddy, and the arrival of a newborn this fall. Jimmy loves spending time at home with his family, while sharing his passion for Pittsburgh’s sport teams and enthusiasm of wine. He is happy to bogey his way around the golf course any day.
I graduated from Virginia Tech (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University) with a degree in Finance and Investments. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual I spent my time in the industry in a Fixed Income Institutional Sales role, focused on Asset-Backed and Corporate Debt. I developed a range of skills and experience by holdings roles in sales, operations, and analytics, all with direct client facing communication. Focusing on growth, both professionally and personally, drove me towards an opportunity with further education, licensing, and professional certifications. I currently hold Series 7 and 63, and actively pursuing additional licensing and designation.
