CityLink Center Cincinnati – Working Together, Reducing Poverty, Changing Lives. CityLink is a citywide initiative started by a group of social service agencies who recognized the need for integrated services. CityLink Center is where individuals go to one place, get surrounded by one team, create a plan to break free from poverty and get to a place of self-sustainability and hope. They appreciate that life is complex and by working holistically, they can see individuals reach their full potential. They are working together to transform lives and the community.
LiveWell Capital is a proud supporter of the community efforts of CityLink Center and proud sponsors of their Annual Moving Pictures event in April 2022!
The first Ronald McDonald House® opened on October 15, 1974 in Philadelphia, thanks to the vision and partnership of Dr. Audrey Evans of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia; Philadelphia Eagles’ player Fred Hill, whose daughter had leukemia; Philadelphia Eagles owner Leonard Tose; and McDonald’s.
The desire for a program that supported the unique needs of families with critically ill children quickly spread to other cities. It was in 1978 in Cincinnati that a group of concerned parents, known as the Children’s Oncology Parent Endeavor, met with the administration at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center to discuss the living conditions of the families whose children were hospitalized. From this group’s initial meeting with Cincinnati Children’s, a grassroots effort was born.
One of our Partner and Private Wealth Advisor’s Tim Miller is also a proud member of the Planned Giving Council at the Ronald McDonald House. And throughout the year, our Cincinnati staff volunteers onsite to help them with their various needs! Please check out their site below to learn more information!

Crossroads founders bet their lives on seven principles — The Seven Hills We Die On. Today they still follow the path to be authentic in teaching culturally current, biblical truth. By doing life together while never settling for less than excellence. And to reproduce leaders and grow people spiritually to expand God’s kingdom. Every Thanksgiving, Crossroads Church hosts a Thanksgiving Food Drive for people to donate food to those in need during the holiday season.
Crossroads Church Locations-Southwest Ohio: Columbus, Dayton, East Side, Mason, Oakley, Uptown, West Side; Northern Kentucky: Florence; Central Kentucky: Lexington and Georgetown.
Each Thanksgiving, the LiveWell Capital team helps contribute the canned food items and multiple turkeys to fill food boxes for their drive. In the year 2021, 100,000 people in the Cincinnati community had a meal for their Thanksgiving because of the Thanksgiving Food Drive!
