Lead Partner and Private Wealth Advisor
Brad joined Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative in November of 2006, after beginning his career in information technology. The thought that changed his life then was the idea that every day he wanted to have the opportunity to impact the lives of others. Brad felt called to do that by helping families protect what is most important to them and to work with those families to achieve their dreams.

Ben Beshear CFP®, CLTC®, AWMA®
CEO and Private Wealth Advisor
Ben joined Northwestern Mutual as an intern in 1999. In 2001, Ben graduated from Miami University and began full-time at Northwestern Mutual.
As an advisor, Ben works mainly with physicians, business owners, and executives who are primarily entering or currently in retirement.

Ben has been honored as one of the top 20 advisors with Northwestern Mutual in America. And was also a qualifying member of MDRT from 2002 to 2011, and a qualifying/life member from 2012-2016.
Ben and his wife Lindsey reside in Indian Hill, with their two children Logan and Campbell and their dog, Mac.
In his spare-time he enjoys spending his time coaching his kid's sports teams or playing basketball and tennis.
Andy Scarpitti CFP®, CPWA®, WMCP®, RICP®, ChFC®
Partner and Private Wealth Advisor
Andy joined Northwestern Mutual in 2009. Prior to Northwestern, Andy held roles as a risk analyst for a Fortune 500 financial services company, and a financial analyst for a local investment bank that focused on mid-market mergers and acquisitions.
Andy graduated from Miami University in 2002 with a degree in finance, and minor in economics. He also earned a masters degree in business administration, with finance focus, from Xavier University in 2005
As an advisor, Andy focuses on helping Fortune 100 executives with complex compensation packages, physicians, and highly-compensated professionals prepare for major life events like retirement and funding children's education.

Andy and his wife reside in Hyde Park with three children. They have been active in the Hyde Park community through various civic and philanthropic organizations. The family keeps busy with the kids' activities, sports, and they love to frequent local parks, the Cincinnati Zoo and the Cincinnati Museum Center.
Andy enjoys winter sports, traveling, food, and wine. And, during the summer, enjoys spending time with the kids at the pool.
David Schimberg

David joined Northwestern Mutual in May of 1996. He is a Life and Qualifying Member of The Million Dollar Roundtable, including 2 Court of the Table and a Top of the Table qualification.

Tim joined Northwestern Mutual 1983 after graduating from the University of Cincinnati.
As an advisor, Tim works mainly business owners and those entering or currently in retirement.
Tim helps clients take control of their future. Together he works with clients to identify their most important goals and dreams, resulting in building and implementing a financial plan to help them achieve them. He works with clients to continually monitor progress on a regular basis to ensure the plan evolves as client’s needs and the situation around them changes.

Marty joined Northwestern Mutual in 2014. Prior to Northwestern, Marty spent 4 years in a successful sales career at a Fortune 500 company. Marty received his B.S. in Finance at Miami University in 2010.

Jared Nickoli is a Financial Representative with LiveWell Capital. Jared helps clients with the creation, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive financial plan encompassing risk management, wealth management and estate planning. Jared joined Northwestern Mutual in 2012 and has worked in the financial services industry since 2007. He is a graduate of Xavier University with a bachelor’s degree in finance & entrepreneurial studies.
Jared resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Rachel, daughter, Camden, and their three dogs. He enjoys travel, golf and anything involving the outdoors.

Personal:
Kertsze grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Kertsze and his wife, Coral, reside in the Downtown Cincinnati neighborhood of Pendleton. During their free time, Kertsze and Coral enjoy traveling, dining at local restaurants, attending sporting events and concerts, and spending time with family and friends. Kertsze is also a member of the St. Xavier Black Bomber Alumni Network and the Pendleton Neighborhood Council.
Fun fact: Kertsze ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain
Dustin joined Northwestern Mutual in 2016 as a Qualified Plan Specialist. Prior to joining our team he spent nearly a decade at one of the largest retirement plan providers in the country.
As an advisor, he focuses his time working with business owners, CFO’s and Human Resources Teams to help setup and maintain their corporate retirement benefits.

Dustin and his wife Jamie reside in Cold Spring, KY with their three children, Kennedy, Collin and Kinsley.
In his spare time he enjoys playing golf with his wife, coaching his kids sports teams and spending time with friends and family.
John Brannon joined LiveWell Capital in 2014 as Portfolio Advisor and Chief Operations Officer. John grew up in Cincinnati and is a graduate of Miami University’s Richard T. Farmer School of Business. He began his career in Stamford, Connecticut working for a multinational paper company and then to Chicago for his MBA where he also began work in the mutual fund industry.
John returned to Cincinnati in 2004 managing brokerage and treasury operations within two insurance companies. His expertise includes portfolio analysis, brokerage operations, treasury operations, and investment analysis. John is passionate about building the infrastructure to support clients’ lifetime and generational goals. This includes directing daily portfolio management and integrating portfolios with the tax system, trusts and other estate planning tools for future generations of a client’s family.
John resides in Oakley with his wife Kimberly where the two of them are outside as much as possible. John is a life-long learner and most enjoys volunteer-based vacations with Kimberly.
Shawn joined LiveWell Capital as Vice President of Operations in May of 2023. During his career, he has worked for companies varying from a Fortune 200 company leading businesses in the automotive, aerospace and food industries to more recently Chief Operating Officer at local Cincinnati based firms.
Shawn graduated from Juniata College in 1989 with a degree in finance management and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve in 1995.
In this new role, Shawn will be focusing on operational excellence, talent development, future integrations, and overall business operations.
Personally, Shawn has two children – Justin and Megan – who have both graduated from the University of Cincinnati over the past two years and have begun their professional careers with companies headquartered in Cincinnati.
In his spare time, Shawn enjoys golfing, exercising, exploring the great local food scene and concerts, and rooting for his original hometown sports teams based in Pittsburgh. Shawn has also been a member of the Big Brothers organization for the past two years and enjoys helping the youth reach their full potential.
Mike joined the team in 2016. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. His career in financial services operations began in 2008, in which he has experience in client support, financial, and analytical roles. Mike is skilled at process development and improvement, having played significant roles in numerous organizational wide projects and initiatives.
Mike and his wife Becky reside in Cincinnati. They enjoy traveling, running, hiking, and constantly staying active.
I am excited to be part of the LiveWell team after 20 years of service as Director of Investment Operations at Northwestern Mutual in Cincinnati. This path has afforded me the opportunity to engage my detail-oriented, critical thinking mindset; but more importantly, I enjoy being able to contribute to an outward focused organization helping others with LiveWell Capital.
My husband, Art, and I have two teenage daughters. Gwyneth is our singer and Elise is our artist (and she is a ridiculously good baker). We have a tater tot/goldendoodle we call Tilly and we also have a cat named Biscuit.
My most used apps are Spotify and my camera. I love Laguna Beach, California. As an avid reader, I like to recommend A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles as it is a life-affirming novel that speaks to the role optimism can play in dealing with change and realizing your life’s purpose.
Chris joined LiveWell Capital as an Investment Operations Associate in the fall of 2022. Before joining LiveWell Capital, Chris spent time in the financial services industry as a Financial Representative where he obtained his Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses. Prior to starting in the industry, Chris graduated from Ohio University in 2021 with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Finance.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his Fiancée, Hannah, and their two animals, Ellie and Lucy. He also loves to travel to new restaurants, attend sporting events, and binge Netflix shows.
Connor joined LiveWell Capital in 2022 as an Investment Operations Associate. In 2015, Connor graduated from Thomas More College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He then began his career at a large brokerage firm where he held various roles within the Private Client Group. Connor has experience in client support, trading, portfolio implementation, retirement plan rules and regulations, as well as advisor support.
Connor and his wife, Ale, reside in Northern KY with their two children, Daniel & Chloé.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, attending sporting events and golfing.

Personal:
I was born in Oxford, England and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. I currently live in Northern Kentucky with my husband, Danny. We have 5 children, Taylor (25), Michael (20), Alivia (16), Emerson (11) and Valarie (2), a dog, Bentley and a rabbit, Bun Bun, all of which keep us very busy and on our toes!! My free time is spent with my family along with exercising, cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals, working in our yard and traveling to the beautiful state of Maine with my family or Nashville, when Danny and I are able to steal a weekend away!
Kelsey joined the team in 2015 as the Director of Marketing & Client Services. She graduated from College of Charleston in South Carolina, and started her career in retail helping open a boutique store in the center of downtown Charleston. With over 11 years in the customer service industry, her mission is to create a unique concierge experience putting you and your family at the center of all that we do.
Kelsey is a native of Cincinnati, residing in Mt. Lookout with her husband, Roo, their two children, Teddy & Vivie, and two dogs. She loves spending every minute with her family, traveling & taking the kids on new adventures.

Lisa has many years of insurance experience in life, health and property and casualty insurance. Working in small aircraft insurance sales was a professional highlight. She has worked with Northwestern Mutual in 3 different states over the past 20+ years. Lisa has worked with Tim since 2015 and currently assists him with scheduling, preparing for meetings and special projects.
Personal:
Lisa resides in Waverly GA with her husband, Dirk, and dog, Vince. She enjoys spending family time at the beach, boating, cooking and traveling.
Jason began his career with Northwestern Mutual in 2021 after graduating from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He joined the LiveWell Capital team shortly after in 2022 as a Financial Planning Analyst.
Jason grew up in Cincinnati with his brother Danny. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, listening to music, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.
Kelsey joined LiveWell Capital in 2022 as a Financial Planning Analyst. Before LiveWell Capital, she graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. Her previous experience in both the design and logistics fields developed her attention to detail, communication and customer service skills.
Kelsey resides in Cincinnati with her boyfriend, Ashton. They have two cats, Sammy and Sully, and their dog, Sassy. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, baking and riding horses.
Kris joined the team in 2022 as a Financial Planning Analyst. He graduated from The University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He started his career in the health and fitness field as a fitness professional training clients ranging from beginners to professional athletes. His passion for helping people achieve their health and fitness goals has been a natural transition into the financial planning space and his mission remains the same- get people from point A to point B as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Kris currently lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife Melissa, his two daughters Gabriella and Kassidy and their chocolate lab Kaia. He enjoys spending time as his daughter’s soccer coach, working out and golfing.
Clint joined LiveWell in the spring of 2024. Prior to joining the team he worked as a financial advisor portfolio manager, and investment executive. Clint held these roles at various entities including a national money manager, an insurance company, and multiple regional banks.
Clint is a proud graduate of Thomas More University and Xavier University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Thomas Moore University and his Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.
Clint and his wife Kelley reside in Northern Kentucky and are proud parents of Kendall and Charlie. His family, watching and playing sports, and volunteering for multiple NKY and Cincy non-profits keep Clint busy.
